Subsidiary Research InstituteThe Cradle of Cutting-edge Equipment and Technological Innovation

DK Sensor's subsidiary research institute traces its origins back to the subsidiary research institute of Dongkwang Sensor Industry Co., Ltd. in 1994. Through continuous investment in research and development and the expansion of research equipment, DK Sensor has positioned itself and SK Sensor as the leading technology companies in the sensor industry in Korea, standing firm as pioneers in the field.
Our research institute demonstrates excellence not only in temperature sensors but also in the fields of humidity sensors and gas sensors with more advanced technological capabilities. We believe in providing our customers with not just products but also the best technology, motivating all our researchers to dedicate themselves further to research and development.
Our affiliated research institute mainly handles tasks such as the design of NTC thermistor assemblies, sample work, process technology, reliability assessment, patents, and more.
  • Research
    Area01

    Product Development Area
We are responsible for providing technical support and product reliability evaluation for various types of sensors, not only temperature sensors, but also for the design and production of each sensor type. We also handle tasks related to the design and development of assemblies and providing samples.
  • Research
    Area02

    Reliability Area
We are responsible for the reliability assessment, which is part of the product evaluation process, and equipped with facilities such as constant temperature and humidity test chambers, temperature measurement instruments with precision of ±0.001℃, BATH, thermal shock test chambers, PCT, salt spray test chambers, HALT test chambers, etc. We handle TEST tasks such as heat resistance, cold resistance, moisture resistance, moisture resistance load, temperature cycle, weather resistance, etc.
  • Research
    Area03

    Process Technology Area
We are responsible for overall technical accumulation and provision, including process guidance and equipment review required for smooth operation of the production line with the largest domestic production capacity, establishment of operation standards to enhance productivity, production equipment maintenance, sample provision, and verification of raw materials and components.
